The quiet node
An Apple Mac Studio.3 Silent, low on power, and needs no server room. Its memory is shared by the whole machine, so it can hold a large model in a small box.
A machine the institution owns, in a room it controls, running the AI its work depends on. The work that must never leave the building does not.
Most of an institution's work can go through the engine safely, with important information removed first. Some of it should never leave the building at all.
A global question, sharpest in Africa. On shared infrastructure an institution is one tenant among many, under a jurisdiction that is rarely its own.
of the world's data centres sit in one country, the United States.

Nigeria Data Protection Commission, 2026Real parts at their real prices, so the institution can check every line. Hardware prices are moving quickly this year because of a worldwide memory shortage, so every figure carries its date.

A workstation built around one NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 graphics card. The chip on the card does the work; its 96GB of memory is what lets it hold a large model.
A 5kVA inverter and a 5kWh lithium battery, so the node keeps working when the grid does not. Many institutions already have this.
The institution sees exactly what the box costs and exactly what we charge. We make nothing on the hardware.
Hardware is a capital purchase an institution may already know how to make. Setup and care are an ordinary service contract.
Not every institution needs every part. The node is priced as pieces, so nobody pays for what they already have.
What the node guarantees, and what it asks the institution to accept.
The institution. It either buys the machine itself or receives it at cost, and it stays with the institution whatever happens to the contract.
Whoever the institution decides. The node sits in a room it controls, and our engineers work on it only with the institution's permission.
Where the institution requires its node, work stops rather than leaving. Where it does not, work continues through the Sovereign Compute Engine, with important information removed first. The institution chooses which.
Often, yes. If it has enough memory for the model, there is nothing to buy. We set it up and look after it.
Because the hardware is priced that way where it is made. Every quote converts at the day's rate and is valid for a short window, since both the exchange rate and memory prices are moving.
Start with a conversation about the work your institution cannot let leave.
